The concept of AcroFlo is simple, adding duct-protectors is a sensible option on any drone, however this is nearly always at the cost of flight performance. Many existing designs hurt both flight times and Acro performance through a total lack of aerodynamic consideration.
The original AcroFlo guards by zerofox3D were meticulously designed in collaboration with Andy Kirby and NJ Tech for use on the Avata 2. This design has now been evolved for it's little brother, the Neo. The design was developed and tested through numerous prototypes to be as aerodynamically passive and weight optimised as possible, resulting in a truly passive flight experience with just the right amount of protection when things don't go quite to plan. Using exceptionally low tolerance fitment, the AcroFlo guards are the perfect 'no compromise' choice for your Neo.
Adding only 1 gram when compared to the DJI guards they have no effect on flight times while the tapered edges and snug fit of the design allows un-disturbed air flow to the props.
